kazOOtus' photostream
|
My dear Flickr friends,
Thanks one and all for stopping by to view my photostream. I have been on Flickr for over 6 years.
My favorite kind of photography is street photography, and city shots.
Gee, sorry , but FOLKS MAKING ME A CONTACT WITHOUT COMMENTING ON MY POSTINGS makes me hit the BLOCK button.
I would appreciate simple comments. Stuff like awards, sparkling bling, group invites, smiley faces and such give me a rash, so I delete or block them.
All users of profanity and those who have porn in their photostreams will be banished somewhere beyond the milky way.
Sometimes I will delete a posting. It is not because of some comment that has been made. Other reasons.
I am on Flickr just for fun. Good humor is always appreciated.
Thanks and God Bless,
Kazoot

""A heart of gold with a wicked sense of humor" is the most concise way I can think of describing Alan......however, he is so much more than that......an accomplished photographer, he elevates everyday life in a way that makes me excited about visiting his stream. A man who loves God, family, and life, he is a glowing reinforcement of my belief that the most interesting artists are of a deep spiritual nature. On top of it all, he has a strong and loyal sense of friendship that is evident in his genuine interest in others' work through his funny and sincere comments..........here's to Kazoot! One of flickr's finest!"

"It's about time I wrote a testimonial for my good friend Alan.
I accidentally came across a photo of Alan's in Exolore
when I was still living in Upstate NY, which means it was more than
5 years ago. The photo was of a banana with a paper clip stuck into it. I have forgotten the title, but I made it a favorite and made Alan a contact on the spot. I continue to enjoy his friendship, humorous photos and his wonderful artwork. Merry Christmas Alan! b"24th December, 2009

"I have never met Kazootus in person, but he is a very dear friend whom I really care for. He's an accomplished photographer whose work ranges from the silly to the sublime. I once called him the main attraction in this zoo we call Flickr and that's still true. His photostream is the first I look at in the morning and the last in the evening. It's always uplifting and many times it's just downright funny.
One of the things I'd like to do before I leave this earth is to sit with him across a cup of coffee and discuss the meaning of life. I'll bet he has an answer.
Take care my friend and God bless you. You are blessing to all of us.

"My Dad is all these things and more. I've enjoyed a lifetime of laughter and silliness. But more than that, Kazootus is a genuine, humble and God honoring man whom I truly respect and admire. Since neither of us like to talk on the phone, Flickr has bridged the gap between us and given us a great venue in which to keep in touch. Thank you Flickr and I love you, Dad! You're the Best there is."

"The first thing I look for when I sign onto Flickr is Alan's latest photos. He has the ability to take ordinary everyday subjects and make them extraordinary through his incredible sense of humor. His photos, but more importantly his comments about the photos, have brightened my day on more than one occasion. Through all the humor, I'm also taken by the true sense of kindness he shows for others and the love he shows for his wife. I feel I'm a better person just for knowing him and he's certainly one of my favorite contacts."

"I got to know Alan and his photography just recently here in Flickr and I am so happy that I did. His humor brightens my day every time I visit his photostream. It is so great gift to have sense of humor like he has.
But what impresses me most is his warm and loving attitude towards other people. When he comments your photos you really know that he cares.
Thank you so much for being my Flickr friend, I hope I could meet you and your lovely wife some day. You are always welcome to my home if you visit Finland.
All the best,
Jonne"29th April, 2008

"All you need to do is view a few of his images and read a few of his titles and captions and you'll understand why kazootus has so many good friends. His wit and great sense of humor are like that breath of fresh air that so many of us desperately need each and every day.
But, as funny as his images and jokes are (frequently poking fun at himself) under it all is truly why kazootus has so many friends from all over the world. He has a truly caring and loving heart, centered in God and he let's that love pour out freely to anyone who cares to take a moment of time and receive that blessing.
Love your images! Love your wit! Love you, kazootus! You are a true friend!"5th January, 2007

"Fun is his middle name when it comes to photography and Flickr! I enjoy his humor and his throughtful comments on my photos! His hometown is close to where I live and I went to university near where he lives. This along with each of us having a love of creating digital images gave us lots in common. I am always amazed by his images and the fun he finds so easily in his world to share with us! (-8"

"Kazootus is a Flickr Original. He's a prolific photographer who's pictures communicate so well his view of the world. You will never find anything that offends on his photostream, but you will often find a picture that makes you think, laugh (often out loud), or both.
There you have it: my friend Kazootus---one of the Flickr Greats!"31st May, 2006

A true gent, I enjoy his pages on a daily basis, even to the extent that I now consider him to be the long lost crazy uncle who I never had."5th November, 2005

"Kazootus is witty, creative, civil, and sincere (when he's not joking). Above all he has the ability to establish warm human relationships with all who come in contact with him; a noble trait in my estimation. His example has helped me improve my online presence.
Thanks, Kazootus, I know we'll meet someday."14th October, 2005

"Ol' Zoot has the biggest nose and bushiest eyebrows of anyone I know on Flickr. This alone distinguishes him as a man worth paying attention to.
As an added bonus, his pictures are a vast melange of people, objects, and bygone scenes, good for hours or at least several minute's worth of enjoyment.
Keep up the good work, Zoot! You're a good sport and you keep me comin' back."4th October, 2005
