The Kaua‘i Museum is a nonprofit institution, which tells the story of Kaua‘i, from the birth of the island up through the Territorial Period. Our historic entry building offers a Hawaiian Heritage Gallery, three changing exhibit galleries and our museum gift shop, which includes books by local authors, the island’s largest selection of quilts, Ni‘ihau shell crafts, jewelry and exclusive Kaua‘i made snacks and crafts.
As an integral part of the island, our board, staff, docents and volunteers serve the community with a sense of pride in our history and accomplishments and a dedicated commitment to our mission.
