I love food, and I love cooking! I try to make pictures of as many things I cook and eat as I can! My favorite kitchens are Italian and Chinese - I have studied Chinese and spent a considerable time in China (student for 1 year, then about 15 visits since), where I traveled extensively and tried out many dishes!

At the moment I am scanning my color slides of China, made in 1983 - 1984. I have about 1500 slides of Shenyang, Liaoning, Chengde, Beijing, Harbin, Fushun, Xi'an, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Guilin, Luoyang, Quanzhou, Fuzhou, Guangzhou and Hongkong. And probably many more places. Most slides are from Manchuria (Dongbei) where I studied for one year. Keep an eye on my Flickr stream as I start adding more and more... and let me know what you think and which slides you want me to scan first ;-)
