Hi,
I'm KatsumiKatsumi from Tokyo, Japan.

I sometimes wonder what drives me to take photographs. I always liked to see things, places and people become to look beautiful when their shapes and colors are exaggerated by light and shadows like when in the sunset. Maybe the nostalgic feelings come from the memories in my early childhood when I always felt sad to see the sun go down and the same day would never come again. Those feelings were purely formed by light and shadows that came into my eyes and I still love the artistic performance created by the sunlight everyday which inspires me a lot to take pictures.

I usually take pictures with Zeiss prime lenses, Distagon T*28mm F2.8 and Planar T* 50mm F1.4 on my Canon EOS though it's quite hard to get a sharp focus with those manual focus lenses.

I like taking pictures with my iPhone too. You can see how I'm in love with it when you see a lot of my recent pictures are taken with iPhone.
