I love capturing the world around me with my lens. Since I've begun developing a deeper interest in photography, I find myself more attentive to my surroundings. My eye is constantly on the lookout for an interesting shot! I'm a true believer in the saying "a picture speaks a thousand words." I most enjoy nature, landscape and travel photography, but I'm inclined to photograph anything that captures my fancy.

I don't use particularly sophisticated gear - just a Fuji point-and-shoot camera - but I think there's more to being a good photographer than having a fancy camera. I make use of Corel Paintshop Pro X2 for post-processing work on my photos.

The work I see here on Flickr continually delights and challenges me to be a better photographer. I always appreciate an opportunity to learn, and I welcome constructive criticism (and of course, compliments ;)) about my photos.
