Arty Smokes says:
"Not only does Kathy have a keen eye for London life (and its old fashioned buildings especially) but she is also a talented painter and image processor. More important than that is that she's a lovely kind-hearted person that gives much more to the flickr community than she is given credit for. She'd be sorely missed by all if she ever left.
BK seems to be one of those people that has more than her fair share of bad luck, but never sounds bitter about it. Many a time, Kathy has lifted my spirits with her words and pictures. In appreciation of this, I might organise a whip round in order to buy her a lifetime's supply of rum and an inflatable cowboy."23rd November, 2008

J A Mortram says:
"Simply THE documenter of London. A beautiful record of all things. Artist, documenter, painter, listener, words fail me... a good egg in a world of shattered shells. Best taste in music. Wonderful person who's feelings translate effortlessly in her photos. Proud whenever Kathy leaves comments on my stream as It makes me feel OK'd by a real voice. More London than 'London Fields' - more human than most. Master of colour and composition... a book in a single frame. Elegant, honest and the BEST eye... and most important of all a really, really good human being."

"The Buckaroo Kid ate all my Milky Bars.
I heard she was wanted in seven states for horse rustling, but that's probably just an ugly rumour.
As long as she can outrun the posse there will be great pictures to look at."20th August, 2008

Devpow says:
"I have to say that Kathy, the buckaroo kid, is without a doubt one of the most talented photographers I've seen on flickr and is a true artist in every sense; her paintings of historical & musical icons, et al., are absolute masterpieces. I feel as if I've seen more of London than those who've actually taken a tourist trip...such is her gift for making photographs tangible.
Kathy is really one of the first people who would visit my lil' photostream daily when I first began my foray into flickrdom...with nothing but the kindest and most supportive comments (they really alleviated my insecurities about my works!) and introduced me to other wonderful people who are now contacts and friends.
You will never know a more talented and generous soul than Kathy. Where I'm from...the buckaroo kid is and will always be a living legend!
Cheers & a big YA-HOO!"1st August, 2008

Jiffy Cat says:
"buckaroo kid has one of the best photostreams about a city that you're likely to see on Flickr. Kathy's London is bright, colorful and full of light and life. She'll take you to out of the way places,to the nooks and crannies where life is lived and she does this with great skill and photographic craftsmanship. About as far from the Anti-Nowhere
League's Streets of London as you can't get."26th May, 2008

Phil Dillon says:
"When I log into Flickr, Kathy is one of the photographers whose work I look for first. You should do the same."

BuckarooBob says:
"On a "straight-up" buckaroo outfit, the buckaroo crew only rides horses and works cattle. All feeding, fence mending, haying, and other chores are tended to by the "ranch crew”.
The Buckaroos were the “knights of the range.” Or, as Kathy proves, the Ladies as well. Their motto: “let her buck!” was shouted in the rodeo chute, from the back of a brahma bull or a buckin’ horse. While London doesn’t fit my view of a Western town, Kathy’s art and photos show her zest for life, and a spirit of adventure—and she’s a damn good shot, for sure.
Proud to call you “Buckaroo”, Kathy—“Let ‘er Buck!”"7th March, 2007

Timmy Toucan says:
"Not only one of the nicest people I know, Kathy is also a fantastic traditional artist. (Who paints the faces on mannequins for a living!)
If she takes photos as well as she can draw & paint, then the whole Flickr community is in for a treat. Expect pictures of life in South London with an eye and insight only a true artist will catch."26th September, 2006
