Feel at peace in wide open spaces. In love with Mike. Passionate for anything outdoors - hiking, backpacking, skiing, snowshoeing, kayaking, biking, biathlon, anything. Feel most at home on the river, especially introducing other people to the wonders to be found there. Believe strongly in preserving and protecting the wilderness. Allergic to cities. Chai drinker. Meditation and yoga a must for well-being. Feel best when engaging in daily exercise of some sort that increases fitness. Love soup.

I go through spurts of photography and like to capture images that "feel" right, even when I don't know why. I am drawn to shooting nature and photojournalistic moments ~ unplanned, that involve a bit of luck and that (hopefully) stir some kind of emotion in the viewer.
