I've recently developed an obsession with all things bento and tiffin -- and if they reflect anything Studio Ghibli, I'm in heaven. Just looking at my little Totoro bento makes me happy. Now if only they'd have one from Spirited Away ... especially with my beloved soot sprites.

I find that the small portion sizes afforded by bento and tiffin boxes is both practical, healthy, and attractive, making each health meal a celebration. I find the lunches packed by Flickr Bento Members to be really inspiring, as they often give me ideas to create meals out of my freezer that I didn't know I had.

In my case, what I pack for lunch, usually ends up partly for dinner, as well. I enjoy eating the largest meal of the day at noon, from the Bento, and then pick at any left overs for dinner.

I thank all of you for the time in uploading your meals, and, your patience with this newbie as I begin to shyly upload my own. I'm fully aware I have crappy pictures -- one day I'll master this and find the right camera. Just have not found it yet (or I have no talent, or both).
