Kats Creative Corner's photostream

I am passionate about my family, my friends, my interests in jewelry making, photography, genealogy (family history), reading mysteries, traveling, and all things historical. I live with my two cats, Spooky a sleek gray male who has a feisty personality; and Molly a dainty, assertive female. Spooky and Molly get into fights every once in awhile and I have to step in to break up the ruckas. They are always "helpful" when I am working on my jewelry projects.

This year my dad celebrated his 80th birthday, and he and my step mom, Kathy, celebrated their 10th anniversary, so we had a great party in honor of both of them. Many family members and friends came together on 8/1/09 to join in the celebration. My first photostream is of pictures taken at that party. Enjoy!!

I have been doing family history research for over thirty years since my late teens. This is an ongoing project, but I have a Family Tree Maker website that reflects some of my findings and the research of others who have helped me along the way. (the website address is included on this page) Family research is definitely a community affair with later generations building on the research and work of earlier generations. I am always grateful to the many people who have shared their research results with me, and I strive to share what I know with anyone who has an interest in our common family history.
