I am a Netherlands professional journalist and a semi-professional photographer (still developing skills ...). I was educated as a journalist (School voor de Journalistiek, Utrecht) and I have worked for various Dutch newspapers and magazines (and also radio).

Over the last couple of years I have focused on travelling and photography, which are two of my passions. Other passions are: love & friendship, history, art & architecture, creativity, nature, camping & outdoor life, Africa, women’s & children's & human rights & diversity.

I have followed courses at Foto Academie, Amsterdam. My photographs were published in Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant and by women’s rights organisations Mama Cash and Aletta (Institute for Women's History).

This year I have my first photo exhibition at the Centro de Cultura Asiatica in Malaga, Spain.
