I am happily married, glad to stay at home mom with my daughters, therefore I am your average person living an average life.

Photography has become a complete love. So, bare with me, I'm striving to do the best I can do.

I am totally inspired by my new found friends and others here on Flickr, thank you so much...

I'm the one who will look deep into your stream for that forgotten gem. So don't be surprised if I comment on your first Flickr upload. I hope you will do me the same courtesy. Also I do read profiles, and thank you for reading this one. One of my favorite profiles simply says "old fat dork" which made me laugh and want to look at his stream even closer. Things like that are so honest, fresh and to the point, it makes me happy to add as a contact.

Flickr, in my opinion, is one Giant Gallery, full of personality and wonder. People, people, please say where you reside, country, state, city. I like to know.

You'll note, looking at my stream, I'm always trying something new, frames, quotes, angles, lighting, etc. I like trying new things with Photography art, that's just me.

I am the proud owner of an Olympus E-600.
Olympus SP-565 uz,
and a Canon PowerShot A470 for digital shots.
I use a Nikon N60 for Film shots.
I do not have Photoshop or Lightroom. I think it would scare me. But I did sign up for Picnik Premium, and am having fun with it.

7/2009 - Bought the Olympus SP-565 uz to be my main camera. After 1 month of shooting with it, I'm not 100% impressed, seems my 550 was far better and clearer with the focus. But I do love the zoom, and the 10 MP, I won't be putting it down any time soon. I got a fun little UV lens to match, when I attach it to the camera, I feel almost professional. I entered some photo's in the San Mateo County Fair again this year, wish me luck. The Photography contest is in August.

8/2009 - did win an "Honorable Mention" in the 2009 San Mateo County Fair for a pic I took with my Nikon. It felt good to win the award, and has inspired me to work even harder on the stuff I enjoy shooting.

5/2010 - I've entered another 3 entries into the 2010 San Mateo County Fair. Of course I'm hoping for another ribbon! Wish me Luck.
update on the fair - didn't win a ribbon this year, but did sell one of my photos! It's an over-the-top awesome feeling to have my photo on a stranger's wall,

10/'10 - bought my first DSLR, LOVE IT. I feel like I can do anything now.

01/2011 - as of this year, I am going to concentrate on Animal portraiture. I found I like this the most. I will still strive to photograph everything that catches my eye, but working with animals is something I love.
