I've been sewing for as long as I can remember and sewing professionally for 17 years. I currently am a sample maker for a local designer and started making purses in 2007 to have a creative outlet. I love making purses out of recycled materials such as felted sweaters, bits of embroidery and vintage tea towels but really will use anything that strikes my fancy (like that bit of embroidered camo fabric I found at a thrift shop today). Sewing keeps me happy and balanced.
