A camera belongs in my hand. It opens my eyes to new views of life. For me knowing that I can freeze what I see is a way to share my perception of life. I shoot mostly candid unposed pictures in order to hold the instant moment of perceiving. My interest in not necessarily making a technical perfect picture. What I wish for the viewer of my images is a glimpse into my way of stopping life, whether it be beauty, pain, or joy, to remember to use our eyes the way they were designed, to pay attention to what is outside and how we react or respond. The frozen seconds of looking at a photograph is a momentary 'peephole' view into the Soul. I am a sensitive person with a great interest in people and how to make a better place for all to live on this Earth. Can we all extend the "moments of the Soul?"
