I try and keep my photos as simple as possible because its the way I see things, I am not fascinated by all the post processing which many people tend to do but I do appreciate their efforts.
I use 35 mm film cameras more extensively. I love the wait period once the film is gone for developing! Most often I try and be technically perfect as it gives me immense satisfaction, the subject doesn't matter! I hardly use flash.
