Joe Curtin says:
"I think it's about time I write you a testimonial, Kalie.
You probably know by now how much I adore your work. I mean, your photography is like a drug to me. I can get lost in your stream so easily and just look for hours and hours on end. The kind of emotion you show in your photos is unique and different from any other photos I've seen. Your photos have the ability to make me cry, smile, and even laugh. Just viewing one of your photos large on black and listening to the song you post under it makes me feel like something I've never felt before. You are a master in the art of photography!
At first, I thought my comments were just getting lost among all of the group invites and glittery "congrats on your photo" comments, but you ended up finding my stream. How? I don't even know. But you did, and I have to say it felt so so good when you added me.
I don't know. You're just such a nice and kind and real person, and it seems as if you know how to make people feel good about themselves. And it works. Even just in your letter that came with the print I bought from you, when you said "you're going places with your photography boy, i mean it", I felt so confident at that moment, and I honestly appreciate it.
You're on of my biggest inspirations, and you're photography is amazing. That is a fact. I don't even think it can be a subjective topic, because there is no way that someone can see your stream and not be in awe.
Go on and do something great with photography. Become famous and do wonderful things with your life (and please remember all of us here on flickr!)
Thank you for producing great photos, and thank you for your support.
Joe Curtin :)"

"From the moment i first discovered your work, i was incredibly inspired. you were the one who showed me what emotion is. I look at a photo & listen to the song in the description...ill look at the picture for like ten minutes because it is so incredible how you can make me feel your emotion. alot of them i can relate to aswell.
Ah sorry if this is all making no sense.
I just cant even explain how much of an inspiration you are to me.

"It's about time i wrote you a testimonial. i've been meaning to for a while, but it struck me how your stream always leaves me at a loss for words. each of your photos are so powerful and emotional, that i feel my words would only be an insult towards them, because i clearly can't put into writing how beautiful they are. if that makes sense. they are so stunning and honest that i really don't know what to say."

"Kalie is one of the most inspiring photographers to me on Flickr. I was completely fainted from how amazing her pictures are. Her pictures are always comes with an excellent mood, beautiful expression and full of creative for sure. I'm looking forward to see more of her work in the near future!!! Again... you are one of my best favorite photographers forever. (sorry for my poor English)"

"Okay, so there definitely aren't adequate words to describe Kalie's work. She is one of the most inspiring people to me on Flickr. I am amazed by most every shot. The way she captures raw emotion and makes you really understand it is beautiful. I wish I had more to say but like I said there really aren't words that could properly tell you about her or her photos, other than that she's amazing. She's definitely one of my top 5 favorite streams to visit and I always look for her new photos. If you don't follow her stream already, you absolutely must."

Alex Shahmiri says:
So I said I would write one of these for you because I had been meaning to forever. Now two months later, I feel it's the right time.
You know I could say how amazing your photos are, but I think all these testimonials cover that pretty well, because we all know you are a fantastic photographer. Therefore I will not be talking about your photography. Just about you.
First off, I want to thank you for all your support. You have no idea how much I truly appreciate it. You've always been there, and you gave me that extra push when I needed it most. Sometimes you didn't even mean to, but sometimes you would just say something and it'd open my eyes a bit wider.
You are a sincere individual, and I respect that immensely. You don't play games, you're just you. You are always a pleasure to talk to, and a constant inspiration, even if it's just a slight thing in a photo. I am extremely glad that we are friends and that we got to know one another, and it's a good plus knowing that you have a great taste in music as well.
In the end, you truly are a great person and I believe that you will continue to be a great person and do things with your life that people dream to do.
Thank you for everything Kalie, I mean it."

"Yay you added me as a contact so I can write a testimonial for you.
Anyways, what I've always wanted to say about your photos is that they want to make me rip my heart out and tear it to shreds, yet at the same time put my hand to my chest and hear my heart beat. Because your photos make me feel alive
they flood my eyes with the most honest emotions that sometimes I can't even look, that or I can't pull my eyes away.
Kalie, I could look at your photos all day. I could write a 700 pg novel on how much your photos impact me.
and I know you impact others even more.
so don't you even dare stop.
because I will seriously die.
saying your amazing is an insult; you are so much better.

"Truly some of the most sincere and beautiful forms of expression I have ever seen. Your images make me feel so much. I have looked at some of your images and cried. Thats how much they touch me."

"i came across kalie's stream quite some time ago. my first impression was that she was a typical, decent photographer like many others i'd discovered. however, after post after post, this view changed. i realized how much passion goes into each shot. how her eye aids in making such stunning captures--captures that only kalie could master. her originality adds even more to her overall brilliance in the skill of photography. going onto this stream each day brings something new, something fresh to my eyes. and each of those submissions inspires my own photography more and more. aside from her photography, i have had the liberty of getting to know her a little. and her inside is just as beautiful as her outside and her photography combined. i can tell you that her heart is in every snap she makes. i must be honest that i can feel every emotion she has in each of her self portraits. to be anxious for her next work of art--that is not uncommon. kalie, you are such an inspirational person and artist. thank you."

"your photographs, they break me. i can feel and almost taste the human conditions in each of them. frailty, sadness, bliss, strength, weakness, joy, and solitude... it never ceases to amaze me. and how you can take hundreds of pictures in the same places, yet, each and every one of them is equally awe-inspiring and real. i love your work Kalie. I feel like i know you just from knowing your art. and that's one thing that makes me love an artist; when their art reflects themselves. thank you for putting yourself in your creations, literally and metaphorically, and for continuously inspiring me."

"Mmmm... hey Kalie.
You are currently out of the house.
You are currently my hero, ro-model, and closest sister.
Without you well... sick I don't even want to think about it.
Yes, I copy you all the time, but I have no intention of making you mad.
I apologize if I have ever pissed you off.
I am jealous of you and your little Canon Rebel xti.
Sometimes I feel like you spend more time with it then me.
But the results off both are overwhelming.
I hate you.
Your photography makes me want to go crust in a corner for 93284 years.
I am jealous of you SOOO much I don't think it is healthy.
Screw all the negative things I have said to you.
You photos are great.
You inspire me (cliche? yes I know)
I am currently watching an obese man get lifted off his bed.
And waiting for the dryer to get done.
This is absolutely ridiculous that I am writing this on flickr.
Wellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll, go off to college and major in photography and become a superstar, you diaper rash."

"So it's about time that I've written Kalie a testimonial.
I always feel kinda weird talking about the person rather than saying it directly but whatever haha.
Everyday when I go on flickr I have few streams in mind that I know I want to check. When I browse through my contacts' new pictures and open up tabs, Kalie is always one of the tabs I keep up and wait until last to check and comment (along with Rosie, Aaron, Owen, and Sarah.) Every time I log on I can't wait to see what she has to show for the next day of her 365 project. The second I open up her page my eyes take in the emotion like lungs take in fresh oxygen. At first I always felt like a creep commenting and favoriting all of her pictures because it was practically every single day that I would. Now I feel that I've kind of grown past that shy admiring and it has bloomed into genuine appreciation. Describing why I love her photos is like describing why I love the deep blue hue of summer skies- words don't do it justice, but once you see it you understand. There's pictures on flickr that you see and immediately fall in love with, but looking at it for 25 seconds is enough time for you to appreciate it. It's different with Kalie's pictures because it's more of a slow, wholehearted digestion. She has such natural beauty, and with her unique postures and deep expressions you can't help but feel the raw sentiment that she coveys through her photography.
All that I can hope for is that she continues to post photos everyday for as long as possible, to keep the inspiration and beauty of photography flowing."

Thank you for them."
