I am not here for compliments or validation. I am here for critique and I am here to learn.

I claim to be a photographer yet does this really define my only talent? Of course not. I am a language student. I study Italian and English, and I choose to outlet both my intellectual and my creative sides. I believe that those who do master the balance of both artistic and academic qualities are the most admirable. I don't feel that here is a need to give up one thing you care about for another. I may be naive that I will have it all someday. But as long as I am content and I learn on my journey then that's fine by me.

N.B. If you are browsing my photos it would be helpful if you could comment on them. Even if it's just a couple of words of the mood or feeling or opinion you have. That will help as well as a more detailed discussion of my composition/lighting etc. which is also appreciated.
