Photography
I started taking photos as a teenager in the early 1990s with a Minolta Dynax 3xi single-lens reflex camera. After taking the pledge for several years I re-entered photography with a Canon EOS 400D in April 2007. Being a desperate internet geek since 1998, publishing my photographs on the world wide web was kind of a natural thing for me then.
Behind the Lens
I was born in Germany in 1978. I went to school in Dortmund and Essen where I received the certificate of having passed the Abitur (German university entrance qualification). I attended an apprenticeship in a hospital in Dortmund and became a licensed orderly.
Since 2005 I study theology, history and educational science at the Technical University of Dortmund for graduating as a secondary-school teacher. I currently live in Castrop-Rauxel.
