Update 2011: I'm not taking photographs much these days. I've been focussing on drawing.

Update 2010: I've begun to focus more and more on portraiture and performance photography. I've had the opportunity to photograph a large number of operas, theatre shows, dance shows and other live performances. I often work for barter, so if you have an upcoming performance event that you'd like me to photograph, please let me know.

In photography, I'm most interested in reality and candor. I like capturing people and things as I see them and then sharing that with others. I used to think I was capturing things "as they are" but I no longer think that's accurate.

I also draw and I make tile and glass mosaics. There is a set of these in my stream.

I am amazed by all the wonderful artists on flickr and I'm very grateful that you share your work so generously. It really inspires me. Thank you!
