I made my profession as an equestrian photographer and journalist in 2005 and loved every second of it. I drove across the United States (twice) to Middleburg, Virginia, from San Diego, California to pursue this passion. I've followed eventing, hunter/jumper and dressage circuits from backyard to Olympic levels around the country to capture the highs and lows of the equestrian sport and lifestyle. I worked for The Chronicle of the Horse magazine for two years and have plenty of equestrian stock photography just waiting to see the light of day.

I've since fallen in love with commercial photography and am working to adapt it into the equestrian world. I am currently building my business, J. Walker Photography & Multimedia.
