I'm a portrait, event, and fine art photographer living in northern Indiana, near South Bend.

In art and in life, I am drawn toward simplicity, authenticity, and nuance.

I work in an easy-going style and primarily with ambient light.

I prefer to capture an authentic moment rather than contrive a "perfect" scene.

(some imperfections have a kind of unique perfection of their own)

I am incurably convinced that the most simple things in life are signposts of the most sacred.

Every person and every family has a legacy, a mythology, a story - but language is an imperfect medium.

Good pictures fill out the
narrative where mere words fail.
