For me photography is a mix between art and documentary, where the artsy-craftsy of doing it the old fashioned way is important. -- If you want to know me but are in a hurry, an easy way could be to start with my preferred shots.
In my youth I used first a Pentax S1a for some years, then changed to a Pentax SP in quest for the thru-the-lens light meter. -- I like this model so much that now I also have the Voigtländer Bessaflex, a modern copy of the Spotmatic design.
In the meantime I also had a Yashica Electro 35 (R.I.P.) and a Olympus XA (still in use).
In June 2000 I turned digital with the Sony DSC-F505. In December 2003 I upgraded to a Sony DSC-F707.
Since December 2007 I have returned back to using film. Now I am a proud user of a Voigtländer Bessa-R and a Bessa-L, as well as a Zorki 3M and a FED 3 (type b)
My main lenses for the rangefinders are Voigtländer lenses Heliar Super-Wide 15mm/F4.5 Aspherical and Color-Skopar 35mm/F2.5. I also enjoy the Soviet made lenses Industar-61 55mm/F2.8, Industar-50 50mm/F3.5 and Summitar 50mm/F2 (collapsable).
Another recent acquisition is the quirky Exakta Varex IIa.
I also enjoy some heavy and cumbersome but oh so joyful medium format cameras. My first acquisitions were the Mamiya C330 Pro f and the Zenza Bronica S2. Later on I have added the Agfa Isolette I and the Pentacon six.
For metering I use a
And I also dabble with music. Please check out a few of my tunes on SoundClick.

Tomas Webb says:
"For me, Jussi-Paavo's stream is manipulation of light on a grand scale. Some of his most impressive images come about through a comparison of shadow and brightness along with skillful use of colour in both bold and subtle ways that are always in the best interest of the subject. And all of this occuring primarily in large public places makes it so much more impressive.
A bonus is the title of his images. All start with the type of film used giving me an idea of what film I should be trying next!"7th October, 2009
