Just impossible to resist to the strength of his b/w poetic vision. Though it's not romantic poetry. His shots open slowly a little door that lead directly to the core of the visual event. We can see the rough beauty of a smiling yet desperate lady and the thin fingers of a sleeping drunken man. We can enter the darkness of an unknown japanese night just to meet the expressive eyes of a singing woman.
