02/07...I'm 41, married, no kids, and have no visual documentation of my life. Last year I decided to change that. I am a TV captioner working from home, so photo ops are generally limited to dog walks and household objects, though I've been doing my best to get out of the house more.

5/07...I finally got tired of macro flower shots and graduated to actually documenting my own life, so I've slowly started to add more photographs of people and things that I do these days. I'm still trying to get the hang of having my camera at the ready for spontaneous captures of memorable moments that surround me, but it's a learning curve for sure. I use a Canon PowerShot SD1000. Someday I'll upgrade.

6/08...I've upgraded slightly, to a Canon S5 IS. Lots more control over individual settings. Lots more to learn!

9/09...I'm ready for a DSLR but am far from being able to afford one.

11/09...Funny how you find the means when you want something bad enough. I now own a Canon Rebel T1i and am loving it. The ability to shoot in low light without a flash is what I love most so far. Learning all the setting options is a little overwhelming, but I'll get there eventually.
