I am a Freelance Editorial Photographer living in Worthing. Most of my work is in Sussex and London although I do travel further afield if requested.

I mainly work in the field of entertainment covering Live Music, Film and TV events, Premieres etc.

My work has been published in UK national papers, periodicals and internationally.

In my "spare" time I shoot fine art and stock capturing what 99.999% of the population miss as they walk around, if only they would open their eyes.

People are wonderful - I feel split moments can show far more emotion and illustrate an event or person than any moving image can.

Most of my inspiration comes from 1950's and 1960's black and white imagery but due to current news market trends, I don't get to deliver black and white images often. :-(

The techie stuff is only important as in the tools must do the job; you will rarely find me in the "Cannon vs, Nikon" debate. I started Photography in my teens with an old Practika and cheap darkroom. I now use Nikon cameras in a digital work flow. I believe that Photoshop (or the like) is the digital equivalent of the dark room but only when used in the right way. PS should not be used to save an image or create it, only to finish it off as you would when printing. Lightroom forms the basis of my workflow and in fact over 99% of my images do not touch Photoshop.
