Former professional photographer specialising in editorial and commercial commissions, I now balance my time between lecturing in the photography department at a tertiary institution and my photographic practice.
My flickr page is where I "pull the piss" and muck around as well as show some of the stuff that is new, personal, or different to what I normally do. It's an eclectic journey through my photographic archive featuring images both old and new.

I am sometimes asked what I use to take my photographs. Apart from a camera and lens I use light.
Yes, light usually natural organic light, but sometimes supplemented with artificial light to taste. I also use mountains or maybe buildings and man made infrastructure or any combination of these, plus people ... oh and objects, always objects. But the main thing that I use to create my photographs is light.
... and whiskey sometimes helps too
