Hi. My name is Juj and I do video graphics for a living, which is just a fancy way of saying I spend a lot of time converting other people's work from CMYK to RGB and delivering it to somebody else. I have a degree in painting but I haven't painted anything in years. Occasionally I open a jar of turpentine and dab some behind my ears just to remember what it smells like.
I've been shooting pics off and on since I was a kid and there is very little else I find quite as satisfying. Except maybe fried egg sandwiches. And Pringles. I could live on Pringles. I'm self taught, but I've had lots of help figuring things out. Google is a beautiful thing. Flickr is a beautiful thing. There are lots of beautiful things that have helped me figure out how to look like I know what I'm doing.
I credit my dad with teaching me how to see and John E. for making me want to. And...
