I enjoy sewing as a hobby. I like to make garments for myself as well as for my nieces and nephews.
I learned to sew while I was in high school from a very demanding home ec teacher, Ms. Nickolai. She has been dubbed my sewing mentor. I consider myself a perfectionist and therefore take more time completing projects than I would like. My mentor set very high standards for me as I learned to sew and therefore I expect a lot from myself. The items I create are a reflection of me.
