I think of myself as an "amateur" amateur photographer :) But I love taking photos, and get a kick out of seeing how creative everyone else can be; Flickr is amazing!
My only camera, for now, is a Nikon 5900. It isn't much, but it does the job.
I like cropping pictures to 16:9. I don't know if that's "cheating", but I like the feel it gives. Maybe I just watch too many Hollywood movies :)
