Photography is a passion. I love wildlife and landscape, but I am always trying to expand the scope of my work. I am lucky to live in southern Illinois which is incredibly beautiful and wild. If you have stereotypical visions of cornfields and flat prairie land, forget it. We have the Shawnee National Forest, several national wildlife refuges, and several wilderness areas. It is a wonderful place to explore!! I value constructive criticism....so if you view my photos and have suggestions, let me know.

Finally, anyone living in the vicinity of Marion or Carbondale and the surrounding area should consider joining the Southern Illinois Photographic Society. The club has about 70 members, and has a monthly club contest, a monthly outing, a monthly program, a monthly featured member, an email newsletter and much more.
