Hey all. First allow me to thank you for dropping by to view my images. A little bit about myself. I'm a Chemistry Grad Student in San Bernadino / Riverside area in Southern California. I usually use my camera to blow off steam when not in lab. I hope you found some images to your liking. Please feel free to leave comments on how to improve the images or on general likes or dislikes.

ask_andrericardo says:
"There are two kinds of pleasures.
First, there's the kind of pleasure that is measured by success. Success gathered from hard fought effort, information, inspiration and a dash of luck. It's the pleasure that allows you to sit back and pick up that glass that has just been brought to you and before you recline you let that ice cold glass touch your forehead.
Then there's the "simple" pleasures. These are not life-defining moments. These require no effort, no information, no luck. It does, however, require (from time to time) a bit inspiration to awaken one to its presence. These are the moments measured by the look on a child's face when she opens up her birthday present. It maybe watching ducks and their brood waddle across grass going to a destination that seems all too important to them. These are the moments when you look at the hummingbirds and butterflies dancing around your favorite flowers that you never thought would bloom. The cub scout racing to walk an elderly woman across a busy street.
These simple pleasures are life-affirming moments.
These are the moments that JRodstein and friend capture here on Flickr. Moments that mean something. Moments that can be easily overlooked. Moments that carry a lot of weight, if we'd...just...stop...and...look.
I'd like to invite you to join me in allowing Josh and friends to remind us what Life is really about-- and that is ...thinking...believing...acting...celebrating...caring!"4th June, 2009
