I continue to be amazed at the work of others. I've had my Nikon D5000 since about February '09. While I think I've learned a lot about how to work the camera, how to see images and light, I can't help but to realize how more there is to "see". It makes me appreciate more the world around me.

From the simple capturing of light and a moment to the creation of art - so many of you posting have that gift and it's wonderful to see.

There are times I struggle with the mechanical process, thinking that if only I had that fast glass or the latest version of adobe. Then I look hard at your images again and see the art and emotion behind them. I think - get that part right first, then improve the technology....

I look forward to learning from and enjoying everyone's art. I'm so very much loving this adventure in artwork!

So many of you amaze me with your talents and gifts. It's a humbling experience and well worth it.
