I've been an amateur photographer since the '70s. I started with a Pentax K-1000, but that got left behind after a year in India and I moved up to the Olympus OM-1, and stayed with the OM-family, up through the OM-4Ti, until I finally gave up on film in 2007.

My favorite medium for many years was infrared film, but then I gave up my darkroom space for children. Now my photography is entirely digital. I got back into infrared with a Fuji IS-1 infrared-enabled camera. It's aimed at forensic/investigative markets, but it's a convenient prosumer-grade camera that comes from the factory ready to shoot IR out to almost 1000nm.
