The photo bug hit me the day I saw an old picture my dad had taken of me when I was 5 or 6 at a beach during a trip in Greece. I kept looking at the picture and realized how beatifully subliminal composition can be on a picture. He was no pro but had a great sense of balance, always shooting with his Canon AE-1 and a fixed 50mm f1.8 lense, no flash!
I love to travel, go off the beaten path, taste exotic ethnic cuisine, dig deep into local cultures. Not sure where my next trip will take me but that's ok, not knowing for a year only adds to the enjoyment.
