I love the outdoors, nature, hiking, traveling and experiencing new cultures. Like so many DC-area residents I'm a transplant, via New Mexico, upstate New York and Long Island. You can often find me roaming regional parks, gardens and waterways with camera and tripod in tow.

I believe the world has so much more to offer than what you can see, even though it is here in this Flickr place where we all share our best interpretations of our individual visions. Photography is a hobby that I enjoy, strive to learn more about, and have a profound respect for.

I appreciate all your wonderful comments and will always do my best to return the courtesy!! I so much enjoy being an active member of this Flickr community.

To all of you who notice and acknowledge my photo titles, thank you. Yes, they are all lyrics from Beatles songs…their immense catalog plays on repeat in my head. The only real connection between my photos and these lyrics is, well, me. But I think that if either leaves you with a smile, interesting thought, or song stuck in your head, then that’s an even better impression to take away. I now and then slip in a photo title from lyrics other than the Fab Four...probably something I am currently enjoying or feeling a connection to. I feel that I actually talk more about music in my photo descriptions than I do about the said photo and I enjoy when others take part as well.

I'm plagued with perpetual wanderlust...
