I have been interested in photography a long time, but didn't do much with it until early 2004 when my wife got pregnant and we decided to buy a digital camera to record as much as we could. This camera was a Canon Powershot A80 compact camera which I still treasure a lot. It took a bit more than a year before we bought a Nikon D70, which we expanded with three lenses (the 18-70mm kit lens, a sigma 70-300mm lens and a 50mm nikkor lens).

The main drive for picking up photography were my twin daughters; so expect to see a lot of pictures of them in my stream. I spend a lot of time in the zoo (got a subscription on our local zoo), and I like animal photography a lot. All other photos are just me exploring photography.

Other interests are software development (especially everything related to the old 8-bit MSX), music and movies. On the day job I develop mobile publishing tools for a company called MoMac.
