"taste these teeth please", 4:30 am, all sorts of beginnings, bad haircut masterpieces, balance, before you go, blank pages waiting, branches like limbs, but this is wrong, can't turn back now, cigarettes one by one, close that door, deer legs, didn't mean any harm, dirty hair, doe eyes blinking, don't you dare, everything at once, falling back asleep, found objects, getting out of here, heart straightening iron, her resilience, his fingers, hot temper, hush now baby, i already knew that, i forgot, i'm over it, impulse, injuries going unnoticed, intimate but silent, just fucking shut up, look don't touch, loud typewriters, nerve endings, no kiss tonight, not one word, patient silence, perfect exhalations of smoke, ready whenever you are, self denial, shameless, sky full of fear, sleepless nights, smell of wood burning, still beautiful, strength, swallow pride and gag, this just happens sometimes, trying, unravel alone, wait wait wait, waste of potential, what would you give, wrecked houses forgotten, you're still alive.

But sometimes you can get a sense of who someone is from their facial expressions and their eyes. I can tell that Joy is one of the few that I could sit in a field with and talk for hours.
