Georgia based artist/illustrator and painter, Tammy Durham holds a BFA from The Atlanta College of Art in 1993. She has been painting in oils and acrylics for private collectors since then but in recent years discovered Polymer clay. A relatively new medium to most people, this passionate artist dared to be different and developed a unique style. Recently residing in the South of France and visiting the many small villages and countless art galleries, this passionate artist has learned the value of traveling and it's importance for the creative soul. She traveled throughout France, visited Seville Spain, Madrid, Italy, Montreal, and Aruba. She continues to use these experience as a source of inspiration in her work. Tammy has sold her works in a local gift shop and held a solo show in the Central Perimeter Towers in Atlanta. She has artwork on display at Auto Ecole De Graville in Normandy, France. A strong believer in charity work, she participated in the Atlanta International School's Spring Benefit which brought in over 330,000 setting a new record for the school. New charities will be revealed later this year. Tammy's passion to create and years of working in the medical field has led her to develop a line of art for physicians and childrens hospitals. This line will debut in 2009. This work is the result of a life long dream to help others on a personal level enjoy art, inspire the heart, and bring joy to the lives of children, physician's, parents, and medical staff that dedicate their lives to the care of others.
