Jon-Ross Le Haye is a London based Graphic Designer. He produces art and fashion printed matter – books, brochures and documents.
He studied Graphic Design at Brighton and Kingston Universities from 1999–2004 where his work focused on memory processes and especially how photography, film and everyday objects affect the act of remembrance.
He went on to work at design studios including Johnson Banks, Smith & Milton and Sterling Design.
This led to his appointment as the Whitechapel Gallery's first permanent Graphic Designer in 2008 where he worked with Spin to re-brand the Gallery in 2009. He continues to produce all the Gallery's graphics, advertising and interpretation materials.
He has collaborated with design studios including MadeThought, OSB, Holmeswood and Rose and numerous photographers, artists and curators. He is currently creating a series of publications that deal with the ideas of personal memory made public and family records read as curated narratives.
