Birdwatcher for 50 years and lucky enough to have worked for the RSPB for 29 of them allthough sadly, had to take eary retirement in September 2010 !
I have a particular fondness for islands and am on the Management Committee (and Booking Secretary) of the Isle of May Bird Observatory which I first visited in 1966. I have also led many birdwatching trips to Majorca and Crete and currently, I'm a regular visitor to Cyprus.
Always been keen on photography but only really started getting into digital a few years ago. With retirement now a reality, I'd like to spend more time at it and be able to upgrade my current equipment.
