JFSD (Jonnie)'s photostream  

I use a Canon G2 digital (4 megapixels) still camera and also a Canon DC40 camcorder that also takes 4 megapixel still pics. Sometimes I get collaboration from Earl using his Canon G6 (7.1 megapixels) digital camera.

Other cameras I own include a couple of point-and-shoot 35mm film models; a Canon and a Yashica (however they are retired since I got the first digital). I was recently 'gifted' a very old (and very cool) Asahi-Pentax 35mm. I'd like to have it cleaned and shoot some film and then upload here, when time allows.

I have taken and shared some pics with my cell phone too.

Recently that old phone was replaced with an LG VX9900 which has a 2 megapixel camera. Now I'm taking more pictures with it than I ever anticipated. With the direct upload to Flickr from the LG, it's pretty addicting to snap, snap, snap!

Originally I created the Flickr account to share some photos for a vacation to Chicago in 2006. Since then I'm finding more places and things to take pictures. It seems taking more pictures means more practice, and getting better pictures too.

Notes: I flopped my screen name from Aloha kâkou to JFSD (Jonnie From San Diego) to be more consistent with other sites I visit.

If you didn't know, Aloha kâkou means Aloha to all of us. Well, I guess that isn't really a name is it, but I liked it at the time. The definition behind the word Aloha is pretty amazing. If you are curious, check out more on the the Hawaiian language at:
