I am a musician, a writer, and a generally creative person who is uncomfortable assigning himself the term "artist". I use art to learn to see, hear and understand.

I'm fairly new to photography and I'm here mostly to learn and gawk at the work of others.

My gear is an Olympus point & shoot (D-580) and a Canon Digital Rebel XTi with the kit lens as well as a Canon 60mm macro lens.

I have a wife, two cats, and two dogs and I love them.
