Photography is my hobby and makes me happy by allowing me to express myself. It also keeps me constantly thinking and learning about new subjects and methods. Most of my images are candids (meaning they're not posed, but as I saw them) but I will occasionally throw in a few posed strobist images. I like to use old lenses as well as new and just try to enjoy what I'm doing while I'm doing it.

I'm thankful to God for my family and to my beautiful wife Leslie who provides me with inspiration, support, and constructive criticism. If you haven't noticed, I'm also thankful for my son Asa who is now the subject of most of the images I post on here.
