Hi, I'm a young freelance photographer living in the UK.

During my school years I was interested in fine art, inspired by abstract works and cubism. My work was bold, colourful and very structural, which suited the medium well.

It was during A levels that I first delved into the world of photography and found it a useful medium for my art. What interested me most about photography though was the instantaneous process of producing an image, this coupled with the infinite creative possibilities that both film and digital photography can produce; it's fascinating and I love it!

I also like the fact that photography allows me to capture and freeze a moment in time so that those moments are never lost but can always be remembered forever.

One of my favourite photographers is Martin Parr, more than anything I love his photo-journalistic style, making the ordinary seem extraordinary! I like the way he tries to tell a story through his photos; something that anyone can relate to.

I love being creative and experimenting with my work, I view every photograph like a piece of art, that can be manipulated in whatever way that I find aesthetically pleasing.

I really like black and white photography, even though my artistic preference is for bold and bright colour normally, and this is because I love the tonal quality and contrast of monotone images; it's just aesthetically pleasing.

I really love being outdoors and exploring, which is why I guess I like shooting landscape and photo-journalistic photography. I also really like portraiture as another form because the human face can express such a variety of emotions and tell a story about the individual. Lighting also plays a key part in creative portraiture.
