Hello everyone. I'm just getting into this flickr thing over the last year. Mostly observing, and now have the itch to dig up my best work and contribute.
I am a 34yr old web/media creative director. I have been shooting as a hobbyist since my father taught me the way around his old Nikkormat 35mm when I was...oh...something like 7 or 8 years old...? Since then I've always loved it.
I have a minor in photo from howard U., where I learned b&w photojournalism from Hilton Braithwaite and Winston Kennedy. I also credit Photoraphers like Curtis Wells (NYC) and Rick Reinhardt (WDC) for their advice and support.
For the last many years I have not shot seriously. These days I'm getting more interested in shooting, getting better at my exposures.
I'm also going to dig up and scan some of my old, best work, from the late 80's - early 90's, when I could actually shoot.
In the meantime, please enjoy what I've posted and show me some love, i.e. comments. Even good critique is much appreciated.
