I am not a professional photographer and probably will never be one at this stage of my life. I just like capturing what I see because I feel that pictures are like memories and each has a story behind it. I find it fun and sometimes exciting taking pictures and wish I had more time to spend doing it. I also do very little editing in Photoshop or any other program. I like to remember my photos as I saw it for real. Taking Pictures has given me a hobby that helps me relax and look at things a little more closely. Thanks for viewing my pictures.

I also do my best to go through my contact list to see who has uploaded something new and comment on them.

"I’m glad that I have been a Joe’s flickr contact and friend since I created my flickr account back in 2009. Having a good friend can really change the flickr experience! You can see a variety of photography in Joe’s photostream; beautiful macro, telephoto, long exposure, scenery, and on and on; Joe has been always eager to learn and improve his photography even further. Visiting his photostream and exchanging comments with him has been a priceless flickr and photography experience for me. Thank you!"

"Joe has a keen eye for what makes an interesting image, and a burning desire for improvement and perfection. In the time I've known him on Flickr I've seen his work evolve in ways I wasn't expecting. He loves scenic shots and macro photography (and excels at both - his butterflies are beautiful) but spend time watching a slideshow of his work and you'll see a variety of styles, all full of interest. As well as being a keen creator of images, he also loves to look at and learn from the works of other Flickr members, and always has a kind and supportive word for others. He is an out and out good guy, and I consider it a privilege to call him a friend."

"*Jo_Joe* is a great photographer with a keen eye for composition. Viewing his photostream is a nice treat that we look forward to on a daily basis. Whether it be nature, wildlife or architecture and beyond, Joe's photography always gives us a unique view on objects we know and love and takes us to places with things we've never seen before. Jo_Joe visits our photostream often and always tells us what he likes or why he likes the picture, which is always appreciated! Never does he post anything but a thoughtful comment about our work. Joe is a good flickr friend, and I hope to see lots of new photos from him in the future. Keep up the great work, my friend! ~Marc"
