My Grandad, Thomas Parker (b. 30/7/1886, d. 1/2/1961) of Sunderland England, a sailor for almost 31 years was in the RNR in Russia around 1915-1918.

He did not appear to be involved with the Russian revolution, the White movement, the Polar Bear Expedition, or the North Russia Campaign.

He was just a steamship engineer who took some interesting photos - 90 years ago.

This is a stack of loose photos, printed on postcards. One says "Keep all of these as I cannot get any more like them". I thought, for this reason, I'd scan these and preserve them.

So here they are for family, friends and others to enjoy.
