John Oram's photostream  

Creatively I can be inspired or frustrated. Who knows until the sun rises - or sets? I can not sing, play an instrument, draw or paint so writing and photography are my outlets. I hope for wide exposure so that people can enjoy occasional quality but mainly for the documentary nature of the images.

My photostream includes scanned negatives and slides which are mostly but not exclusively of transport subjects with tranches from the 1980s and 1990s. I believe these are an important record and hope people enjoy my sharing them.

I hope to become one of Flickr's most prolific contributors but in so doing remain highly varied and worthwhile. I don't 'dump' on the site, posting only images which I want to be seen either on my own behalf or in one of the countless interesting groups on the site.

My additional objectives are to ensure that all photographs are pertinently titled, tagged and captioned and that all are in relevant sets and groups. Finally I hope to encourage my contacts through positive comments as I am encouraged by them.
