by no means a professional photographer, i simply love to capture the sights that catch my eye through everyday life experiences.
my interests include exploring local history; long-forgotten mining sites, hubs of industry, and abandoned/neglected cemeteries holding the remains of those who helped build the Birmingham district and create "The Magic City". I also enjoy finding survey benchmarks and photographing all of the beautiful wilderness that Alabama reveals to us in each season.
In addition, I also maintain a food blog, so many of those photos are here as well.
