I am a fairly inept photographer. I am English but permanently resident in Belgium. The pictures here are a combination of half-decent ones (the digital ones) and fairly horrid ones (taken on Instamatics, Hanimexes, Praktikas etc). I like railways and buses and most kinds of transport, but mainly because all human life is there, rather than the technical side. I am nonetheless the descendant of a large number of Victorian railwaymen, most of whom worked for the London & South Western Railway, with a few on the Manchester Sheffield and Lincolnshire and Great Northern too.

My photo collection was calamitous before the happy arrival of the computer - never catalogued, large amounts of it got thrown away in a bin-liner related incident in 1990. What goes up here is random stuff from out of a crate, together with more recent digital pictures which look better but have perhaps less atmosphere. I hope you like them!
