Ok, so I've decided to update my profile here a bit...

First, if you have Facebook, Twitter or Etsy, friend me or follow me, and I'll definitely return the favor. I'd like to build up networking with many of you, and although I do like flickr very much, I find it much easier to communicate using Fb or Twitter.

Another thing for anyone wondering why I have added so many contacts... I think of it this way. I do fav a lot of photographs, but I consider adding a contact more or less as bookmarking that person so I can see what they do. I'm learning, and if I see a shot/technique/idea that I like, I'll add you so that I can see what else you are doing. I do add people as friends, and those are people that I talk to and regularly give/receive feedback from. I'm not collecting contacts just for the sake of it. :)

I do want to thank anyone who has actually taken the time to look at any of my shots. I'm growing and developing my eye, which is the most important part of photography in my opinion. Hopefully someday I'll work my way into the professional side, selling my shots, shooting events and having the ability to purchase nicer equipment (the 5D Mk II and any L lens are on my wishlist).

For those who have been checking out my stream for the past year and some months, you know that I'm a teacher and was running a photography club at my school. It worked out pretty well, and i'd love to start an account just for some of their shots. Hopefully next year I'll be able to expand the program further.
